087: Breea Clark, Mayor City of Norman, OK—partisan politics doesn’t fill potholes

by | Jan 12, 2022

Breea Clark was elected mayor of Norman, OK in 2019 as the youngest woman and the first Millennial generation leader to hold that position. Clark says she prides herself on making thoughtful, data-driven decisions. No doubt, that perspective is shaped by her responsibilities as director of the J.C. Penny Leadership Center in the Prices School of Business.

In this episode of the Spirit of Leading podcast, Clark discusses her first term that has faced its challenges with several contentious local issues, complications of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the George Floyd murder aftermath. Through it all, Clark says she has developed the confidence and learned the lessons that qualify her for a second term in the upcoming election.
